How about reducing your nicotine rate?

• Reminder

Electronic cigarettes are 95% less harmful than conventional cigarettes. To get started, we recommend you visit a specialist store, where a qualified salesperson will help you choose your first vaporizer, based on your previous habits. As for your nicotine level to start with, this will depend on the number of cigarettes smoked per day, as well as the type of cigarette.

Detail :

- Less than 10 cigarettes a day or light cigarettes > between 2 and 6 mg/ml nicotine

- Less than 20 cigarettes or blond cigarettes > between 6 and 10 mg/ml nicotine

- More than 20 cigarettes or dark cigarettes without filters > between 11 and 14mg/ml nicotine or between 11 and 16mg/mg salt nicotine*..

*If you're a very heavy smoker, we advise you to start with saline nicotine, which acts more quickly on the body. However, you'll need to adapt your equipment. To avoid oxidation of nicotine salts, you need a small pod with low wattage (up to 20 watts maximum) and therefore high-value resistors (from 1ohm).

To choose your first e-liquid, we have over 3,000 flavors on our site. Don't be discouraged, it can take a long time to find the right flavor. There are so many choices and so many categories that you're sure to find what you're looking for. I refer you to the article "How to choose your first e-liquid", which will guide you.

• Focus On Nicotine's Action On The Body

To understand the process, let's take a closer look at nicotine's action. When you smoke, nicotine has an immediate effect on the body, and more specifically on the brain. We call this the nicotine shot. It binds to receptors and stimulates the reward system, which in turn delivers a dose of dopamine, the pleasure hormone. The more you smoke, the greater the number of receptors, the higher the demand for dopamine, and the greater the sensation of craving, leading you to light up more and more cigarettes.

The nicotine present in e-liquids doesn't act as quickly on the brain. Although nicotine salts act within seconds, the nicotine "shot" effect is non-existent. Your body will get used to this new way of absorbing nicotine, and your dependence will start to diminish, even if you still consume the same level of nicotine as with your combustion cigarettes.

• Nicotine withdrawal

So it's been 1 year or a few months since you said goodbye to your old bad habit. You've been vaping daily at varying nicotine rate, and you feel that your body has become accustomed to consuming nicotine in this way.

Now it's time to lower your nicotine levels and go through nicotine withdrawal. But as with any withdrawal, you want to avoid the unpleasant sensation of withdrawal, and you're afraid of falling back into your old ways of smoking. Don't worry, we've got the solution.

Thanks to our patented Bar à Diy concept, both on our e-shop and in our physical boutiques in Nîmes and Alès, you can choose your nicotine rate from 1mg/ml to 1mg/ml. So if you vape at 12mg/ml nicotine, you can order your next bottle at 11mg/ml nicotine. And go down from 1 to 1 every month or two at your convenience.

Lowering your nicotine level by 1 in 1 allows you to wean yourself off nicotine with peace of mind and without frustration. Your brain's receptors won't feel the difference, and you won't experience any cravings.

It's essential to go down in small increments to ensure long-term effectiveness.
